Fun activities for littles and their caregivers to do together:

Older littles:

  • Build a blanket fort and watch your favorite movies
  • Buy bath tub crayons and when you bathe, draw pictures together
  • Go to build-a-bear and make the bear versions of each other
  • Play stuffie hide-n-seek ( the little hides a stuffie somewhere in the room/house and the caregiver has to find it in five minutes. If they fail, the little gets a treat)

Younger littles:

  • Play the color game! The caregiver shows them something and the little has to name the color! (One of my favorites)
  • The animal game: the caregiver lists out odd animals that most people don’t know the sounds of, and the little can make up what they thing it would sound like
  • Sensory games (seek future post for ideas)
  • Make a song/story together: the caregiver starts with a base and the little fills in the gaps (ex. Caregiver: “once upon a time there was a….” Little: “turtle”)

hi there, sunspot! its very sweet that you want to get your dada something! for long distance gifts, i find drawings are the best way to go! it doesn’t have to be perfect, its already sweet that you wanted to do something for him! no matter what you make, i’m sure your dada will love it! i hope he has a happy birthday! 🌈💛🎂
